Responding to the pandemic

Like everyone else, we've had to adjust our plans several times this year. We've worked with the Book Sprints team to find an online format to replace our in-person Sprint that was meant to have taken place in Baltimore in April.

We're currently considering how we can make the most of our move to a purely online (at this stage) project by playing with event formats and possibly opening up our book launch and workshop to additional participants.

Many crowdsourcing projects saw increased activity in the first weeks and months of lockdown, most probably as people looked for positive ways to spend their time online. If we ever doubted the value of our work, the role these projects played at a time of overwhelming anxiety and uncertainty showed how important they can be.
